Temp Gauge

Can you ad a temp gauge to a 95 MXZ 440. I got thinking about a conversation leech and I had. I have the dummy light on mine but it would be nice to have a guage to see the temp vs light going off. Can it be done? Oh I should have said Liquid cooled.

Yes you can. They are available either aftermarket or as OEM. Many Skidoo models had/have temp gauges so you could either search for a used one or buy new. The wiring is usually pretty simple involving only 3 sometimes 4 wires. One for the light (if it is lighted), one for ground , one to power the guage and one that goes to the sensor. If you dont plan on reusing the light you can probably use the existing wiring to the sender. You will also have to change the sender for the light to a sensor for the gauge, or if you want both a gauge and a light you will have to "T" them and run a new separate wire for the new gauge.
