Gregg52, I would guess somewhere right around 2,000-2,200 depending on if it's tiller or remote. I just picked up an '08 merc. 9.9 pro kicker (tiller) for 2,100. From what I saw, the new ones were about equally priced (merc/yamaha) so I would bet the used ones would also be about the same. I had seen a few T8's for 1,500-1,800 but those were '02-'04 motors.

its a tiller i guess does that make it worth more or less

Usually the tillers are a little cheaper (because you don't need all of the extra throttle/starter cables and controls etc.) I haven't heard anything on the price of the new e-tech, but would guess that it's probably going to be right in there w/ the yamaha and merc kickers . Cabelas has the merc 9.9 listed for right around 3,000 and they had a yamaha T9.9 at the Rogers store for about 2,800 (both of those were tillers), but I would think you could find a little better price elsewhere.
