SNOW COVER?

WE ARE HEADING UP THERE IN ABOUT THREE WEEKS AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT KIND OF SNOW COVER IS ON THE LAKE?

Right now there is about 2 ft of snow on the ice. Its hard to say what it will be like in three weeks but I would guess by then if we dont get any major snow most of this should sink down if we get some warm days. There has been trail systems plowed the last couple of days and travel is getting easier. Chick in with me again in a couple of weeks and hopefully I can help you out more.

We are heading out a week from Friday. I understand that all the snow on the lake is an issue. Is the snow hard packed enough for ATV travel or are we better off using the truck and sticking to the plowed trails?
