Vmax 600 Clutch Engagement RPM

Can someone please tell me what RPM the clutch should engage on a 95' Vmax 600?

Anyone?? I'm coming in at 3000 which I'm sure is too low but just wondering where it should be?

That's definitely low....should be 4000 RPM's (+/- 200) if I remember correctly.

When was the last time you serviced the clutch? Could be a worn out primary spring, especially if it's got higher miles and has never been serviced/replaced.

I haven't done anything, just bought it as a fishing sled last winter. I figured the spring is weak, just didnt know how bad it was...
