Wild Blue question

Does anyone else out there have wild blue? Here's the question, got a new computer HP Amd Phenom IIx4 910 Processor with 8GB of memory and a 1T hard drive. Also got a dlink wireless router, installed everything and my bandwidth shot way up. I am on the verge of exceeding my fair access policy bandwidth and don't want to end up getting shutdown. The first few days I know I had to download a good deal worth of updates, but the bandwidth is still way up there. I have noticed that my internet speed has improved since I hooked up the wireless router, could it be the router or all the updates?

make sure you have secured your network, there is the potential that others could be piggybacking off your network if they are close to you. Keep in mind the WB's F.A.P. is a rolling thirty day period and that what you did within this window and allong with the big downloads performed could have put you over the edge. Another thing to look at is if you are exceding the upload or download bandwidth...

I talked to Wild Blue and it looks like all the updates the computer did when it was first set up has caused the problem. Bandwidth is going down now. I did secure my network, but it wouldn't really be a problem as the nearest neighbor is at least 3 blocks away.
