Tim_Anderson
Planning a predator hunt to far northwestern North Dakota or northeastern Montana. Can anyone report as to the snow depth out there? Numbers of yotes? Any info you can give is much appreciated.
LMITOUT
Just got back from central ND and we didn't get it too bad there, or not as bad as they were making it out to have been, but last I heard the Minot area got 24" and Grand Forks got hammered too. Travel is horrible right now so I hope you aren't heading up that way in the very near future. A drive that typically takes me six hours was a little bit better than eight today due to the slippery highways. The wind was blowing 25mph+ for last five days up there. Add the snow and you know the rest.... Section lines are pretty much blown shut for the season.
candiru
Judging by the road conditions map put on the ND Dept of transportation HSOforum, the northwest part of the state did not get hit as hard as the rest of the state.Do an internet search for "interactive snow information" and go to the nohrsc.noaa interactive HSOforum that comes up. It takes a little bit of playing around to figure it out but it is a great tool.
