How important is it to use ice-line?

I have switched over some of my ultralite reels from summer to winter and I ran out of iceline. Should I go out and buy some or just use that line?

Far, far more important than using ice line is using good line. Regular line from the summer will suffice just fine, but make sure it's not old and weakened- you'll regret it.
