trebel hooks and ice fishing

Is it legal to use trebel hooks during the hard water season. For example the quick strike rigs, or other trebel hooks for tip ups?

depends were you fish, i fish mn and wi and wi you can tie a treble straight to the line no problems, in mn it has to be considered part of a lure to have a treble hook, a quick strike rig counts as long as it has a bead or a small blade above the treble, i think it has to be within 3" of the hook but don't quote me, You could tie a treble right to the line as long as you have a small bead or blade above it, to be safe i do both, those little ones you get with swedish pimples usually work good
