Anyone been to Cedar Lake, Manitoba?

Recommended Posts

Looking into an early June trip to the Cross Bay area, near Grand Rapids. There don't seem to be any campgrounds or parks with camping. I found one resort with tent camping. If anyone has knows of other camping areas or has fishing tips, I'd appreciate it. Primary focus is walleye.

Been to Cedar Lake many times over the last 7 years. You will find camping at Moak Lodge. The owner Chris is a great guy. He does have camping for tents and trailers. I have a cabin for the 2nd week in June. Very tough to get a cabin though as that is prime time. May find walleyes tougher in June than in July on this body of water. No real natural inlets as it is a huge reservoir. I do much better in July off midlake reefs. I target the big Jacks in June.

Another resort on this body of water is Hobbs Resort. Can find some cabins in the town of Grand Rapids also. This large body of water can get very rough quickly.
