weekend after thanksgiving

Do you guys have any opinions on whether the fishing will still be good enough to pull the boat 4hrs to go fishing for a day the Sat after thanksgiving.

they are having a baby shower for my daughter-in-law and if the fishing was decent maybe I would pull the boat over and give it a try What are anybody's thoughts?

As long as the lakes not froze something can normaly be talked into biting. What would you be fishing for?

Thanks Esox I am an equal opportunity fisherman. I will fish for what ever is biting at the time. Catching some nice smallies would be great though. I have only fished the IGLs once for a few hours. Will need to watch the weather next week to see if it is worth pulling the boat that far or not. Could probably use my son's father-in-law's boat but you know how it is "all of a guy's stuff is in his boat"

Can't help you on the smallies since I dont bass fish but work the tops of the weeds or weed edges and you should find plenty of pike and maybe a few largemouth. Watch out for the big toothies to, they can surprise a guy. No docks are out other than Triggs and Tri Boji so if you need a dock to launch those are your only 2 options.

Are the docks out on Spirit too?

all docks are on the beach now everywhere with the exception of the HWY9 ramp on East, Tri Boji on West. Triggs on Lower Gar and Templar on Spirit, these never come out due to being in a protected area.

Better believe it. Had both houses setup and the auger running in the yard yesterday morning. Now all I need is some water to walk on.
