mtheis
This was our first year shooting .50 CAL 250 Grain Shock Waves in my sons Thompson Center Black Diamond. We used to shoot 240 Grain Hornady XTP's but we thought the gun was capable of better accuracy. Testing the gun at 100yds showed we could shoot clover leaf groups if we swabbed our bores between shots and did our part. The true test was the start of the rifle season when he shot a nice 5 point buck about 50 yds. on a front quartering shot. The bullet exited like we wanted and left massive internal organ damage. The deer ran about 60 yds before expiring. Great performance!
