trying to figure out how much my strikemaster powerhead is worth

I just purchased a new Solo powerhead today, so I am trying to figure out how much my 1 year old tecumseh powerhead is worth to place for sale. its in almost new condition with maybe 100 holes cut with it. any suggestions? i will post up in the for sale section WHEN I decide to actually sell it so as not to get this moved.

Couldnt tell you what strikemaster got for it,lol but I can tell you a certain landscping place off old 8 in new brighton (D Rock) got 275 for the solo. its a 2.5 hp

$125-$150 would be a fair asking price.

Most buyers will be looking for a complete unit.

Gander Mtn. has Strikemaster Solo Lazer Mag 10" for $449, a complete unit.

I agree with Bob - probably around $150. You may get more for the full package if you pick up the auger bit from that same place in New Brighten. If I remember right, I think you can pick up the bit for around $70 in near new condition. The whole package I would think you could get at least $250+. The old Tecumseh units are still great units, there a a bazillion out there, and anyone buying it will not have any trouble finding service for it.
