Window washer 2002 taurus

Hi,

Nothing comes out when pushing the window washer. You can here the pump running, but nothing comes out. I blew out the lines and reverse blew the line to the tank and it was fine; very wet to say!

Any ideas???

Are you sure the hose isn't cracked where it mounts to the passenger side strut tower. A very common problem with those vehicles.

or the bottom is rotted out of the jug. common too. got to love autos

Or the impeller is broken on the pump?

I'm confused. I replaced the pump today, and it is worse now than it was. I put new hoses on it also. Any help would really be appreciated!!!

you still hear the pump running?

Have you tried pulling a hose off close to the pump and see if anything comes out.

If you can't hear the pump run than you may have an issue with the multifunction switch.

Did you put an aftermarket pump in? Was it a direct fit? Did you have to cut and slice any wires?
