lots2fish28
Question for you guys I am originally from Wi and moved to this wonderful state last year. I did not have time to duck hunt last year due to Job and moving but I intend to this year. I have been doing a lot of scouting recently and I have found alot of small lakes and ponds that come right up to the road. My question is is it legal to put a boat in off a county road and park on side of the road even if there is not a landing. I was told it is but just trying to be sure dont want to [PoorWordUsage] anyone off. Tried to look up in regs but it seems very grey any info would be great
BucksnDucks
Yes your correct if the water runs up to the shoulder of the road, you can legally access it. I will say though that in certain townships the landowners actually own up to the middle of the road in which then u would need permission, again only a small percentage is like this, but it does happen.
