Length and action of your top water rod?

I am going to purchase another shimano compre for topwater fishing. Primarilly prop and creeper topwater... I dont like to WTD.

I would really appreciate info on the rod length and action that you use for this application.

I really like my Medium/Heavy 8' rod. It's a Fenwick Techna AV with the handle extended to 14". It is a VERY light setup, and great combo when coupled with a Curado 300 or Toro reel IMO. Some vendors might be selling them for cheap to make room for the new Fenwick Elite Tech's that are replacing them.
