We went out last week end. Nothing much biting. The scenery was breath taking though. Sat. was spent in the West Battle Lake area.
Sun. we went to Itasca State Park & fished Elk lake. Only a couple of boats out there besides us. So peaceful. The colors were great. We then puttered over to Man Trap. Had one big hit, & Stan had one head shaker. 2 for the fish, 0 for the fishermen. When we were going in, he saw a 40+ in about 3 ft of water by the no wake zone. thrills....
Maybe a few more times before it gets too cold. Girl Power. Char

We also went out last Sunday and I agree it was beautiful! The trees on Pelican were bright orange and yellow. Unfortunately the fish must have been looking at the scenery also.

We got the boat ready to store last weekend so I guess we are done for this year. Man I hate that!
