hunter991
open faced bail? hmmmm, thats a tough one. you may just want to go with heavy mono for that but keep in mind it will be a pain. I have never fished muskie with an open face reel. Baitcasters work best strung with 80# power pro, stealth, or Vicious. you may be able to use PP with open bail but new its a little stiff. hunter991
well depending on what # test you want. A smoother casting line may be dacron at 40#. Its black. won't be as stiff. its made by "musky ....." something i forget. but you can't miss it at the store.
jcpmn82
Western Filament® Tuf - Line® Duracast Braid Fishing Line. Made specifically for spinning reels. Works really well, better than PowerPro for spinning reels!! If you can find it that's what you should use. Do a web search for it..
