nate larson
I just bought 2 dozen GHG decoys. Half of them are pro grade mallards and the rest are a mix of gads, wigeon, and pintails. The decoys look really nice but I have heard a lot of bad things about the durability of the paint on GHG decoys. In the past I have always used G&H and flambeau decoys and have just thrown them in a regular decoy bag without any issues. I am wondering how GHG decoys have held up for others. Should I get a slotted bag to protect them? Also, if I do get a slotted bag I am wondering what one to get.
Quackaddict9
For the GHG duck floaters, I've had the Mallard life-size for over 4 years and use a decoy bag and they still look good with minimal wear. The slotted decoy bags are nice but I don't know if I really need them, they're more $ but probably better in the long run.

There is some ware on them but no more then any other brand. Now there full bodys are another story. i use the six slot bags for all them. nate larson
Thanks for the info guys. I guess I will just use a regular decoy bag and hope for the best.
Lunker
I only use slotted bags for lines of divers to prevent tangling. Otherwise I use regular decoy bags, the decoys seems to hold up pretty well, and you can carry a lot more in a similar sized bag.
