I like these "story" topics.

My former boss who lives and fishes on Lake Bemidji a lot was out one night and lost a Rapala to a nice walleye. It was one of his favorite lures and he figured he would never see it again.

The next night he went back to that same spot and ended up catching the same walleye with his first Rapala still in its' mouth.

(The lure has a specific bite mark in one spot, so he knew it was his)

My Dad and are were heading out on a small lake in search of some pannies. As we were approaching our first spot I notice a large, Center Slider Thill bobber a short ways away. I motioned for him to head that way and as we got close to the bobber I noticed the line started moving sideways. I grabbed the bobber and line and wrapped it around the handle of the net. It took about 5 minutes, but we eventually hand lined it in. 34" northern.... still my biggest to date!
