Are there any good shore fishing spots for trout and salmon in the duluth area? when are the good trout runs.

The Lester, Chester, Sucker all get salmon runs. It's hard to say just when the salmon will run on a north shore stream. Water temp and water levels will determined when the salmon will run.

In those river the Kings usally run anywhere from mid-oct. to late Nov. Cohos run after the kings. Wild Steelhead and Kamloop will often follow the Kings and Cohos in to the river to feed on the eggs.

Be sure to read the regs. book when you fish up there. Lots of regs to know.
