Greasing Tilt/Trim shaft on Johnson/Suzuki DF140

Was noisy but wanted to see what to grease these with.

Same stuff as the steering zerks?

I don't see a grease zerks so you just must put it on with your finger?

I wouldnt put any grease on there at all, it will attract dirt/dust and cause the seal to fail. It gets whatever lubrication it needs internally when its fully trimed in.

I wouldn't put anything on it but it is making a pretty nasty noise when the 2 lower pistons are going down. The main piston is fine though.

I already put some marine grease on but can clean it off and use silicone if it may work better without having dust stick.
