Trout Lake

Anybody out there ever fish Trout Lake in the BWCA? It is supposed to hold some pretty decent lakers because everyone fishes for eyes. I'd love as much info as possible.

Is this the Trout lake that is connected by the truck portage to Lake Vermilion?

Good read and knowledgeable folk on that lake.
And yes, they do well with the walleyes, early season from what I have been told!
