millstone in mn

Has anyone been up there crappie or bluegill hunting? I am gonna try it down there this weekend.

It is north of New Albin in MN

I caught some nice bluegills off crawlers on the wing dams a week or so ago above Harper's Ferry. They were kind of accidental in that I was fishing for walleye, but this time of year I expect to catch some sunnies in the process on the river.

The bite for everything was a little slow, but with the increased flow from last weekend I would expect things to pick up. I don't have much advice for the backwaters since I don't fish them much during open water.
