Doctor J
I am looking to purchase a boat next year. While I primarily will use it as a fishing boat, I have 2 small kids and a bride who would like to "go boating". I have been looking at Lund, and for the boating/fishing combo think the Tyee series is a good one. Anyone have a opinion on the fiberglass 186 vs the aluminum Tyee series? Is there another Lund I should be looking at?
Sandmannd
IMO Fiberglass will be a smoother ride and your family might enjoy it more. I haven't taken either boat out but have been in Rangers and they are Smoooooooooth.
PerchJerker
I also think you are going to find a smoother, drier ride in the glass boat than in the aluminum boat.If the glass Tyee is an option for you, you might want to look at Ranger Reatas as well, they are also very nice boats.
