Eagle Creek - Savage

I have primarily fished for Minnesota Trout in SE Minnesota and the North Shore area. However, I will be moving relatively close to Savage and was curious if anyone has fished Eagle Creek.

If so, is the trout population decent? What type of stream (small)is it? Or, I am a better off just planning on hitting Hay Creek and Whitewater this spring?

This winter I read a artical about metro trout stream. The dnr guy that they interviewed stated that there are no trout living in any designated metro trout streams.

Eagle creek was on that list.

However, I have heard of one person catching one trout out of Eagle creek, but that was a few years ago.

youd be better off fishing in your toilet dont even bother with Eagle Creek. i fished it for 2 days straight and didnt even see a trout.
