Swainson's Hawk in and out of flight

The Birds of Prey area was kind of a bust, but out in southern Idaho farm country there are huge numbers of hawks. This one didn't like me being near her power pole and would circle and scream at me.

Thanks Steve. It was fairly early in the morning and bright - well worth getting up for!

These were all hand held using the Nikon D80 and Sigma 150-500mm @ 500mm.

Turns out it isn't a rough legged hawk, but a swainson's hawk so I edited the title.
