St. Cloud area trout streams

Has anyone fished the trout streams down near Luxemburg? I went today and it was pretty tough going and I couldnt find any decent pools to fish. The stream is very narrow and overgrown making it nearly impossible to get a line into the water. Anyone have any luck around here?

I was on that same stream on 07/24 and did OK, not great but caught 2 nice brookies that are still in there.

It definitely looked like it had potential. If you go back fishing there and want some company shoot me an e-mail [email protected] I grew up in Maine and spent many years fishing brookies there, but still trying to get the hang of Minnesota trout fishing. Would enjoy seeing a Minnesota veteran fishermans perspective. I practice catch and release myself.
