Edina Man Catches 48 Inch Muskie (Video From WCCO)

Recommended Posts

Although not an outstoundingly large fish, it sure beats a lot of the other stuff on the news. There could have been 1 more story about a robery or someone shot instead.

If the daily news was full of every single musky caught and released, whether the fish was big or small, I'd be a happy man.

i watched it again and i was thinking... yes, it was nice he released this fish and it looked as though he was trying hard to keep it in the water. one concern is that this was broadcast to a lot of people and after the abuse this fish took with being lifted straight up with a wire jabbed through it's jaw, and who knows how long this circus went on. i wonder how many people will believe it's ok to treat a fish that way and not be carefull because that one swam away just fine like Bob said? almost would have been better if she went belly up on camera rather than be dead in a few hours like she probably did.

i agree, shame on WCCO, and congrats to the fisherman.
