Bob Lake Fishing Reports

Took a nice 30", 7-8 pound pike there tonight running an X-Rap at about 15'.

Lots of other surface feeding, no other action on lures.

Sounds like a nice fish. I haven't fished Bob in years but we used to do pretty well on crappies there with bonus northerns.

It's 15 minutes out my door and a good lake to take my daughter to. Found a bunch of smallies and largemouth on Howe lake also, and a bunch of smallies way up on Old Abe.

Until yesterday I couldn't catch a pike if you threw it to me.

Old Abe has some dandy smallies in it. Popple is another neat little lake to hit, lots of largemouth although most are undersized. Fun nonetheless and a great place for kids.

Popple is even closer, but haven't been there yet this year.
