Big Watab Trout

[Dragon Fish ll]

I was just wandering if anyone has ever fished big watab for trout and if so how have you done? its up by Avon MN in I think stearns co.

I've fished Watab quite a few times. We've always done best by locating a few electronically, then slip-bobber fishing ice-jigs w/ with corn or Berkley power bait (the paste that comes in a jar that you glob onto the hook). I don't know where they'd be this time of the year, but after the water warms look for them suspend at about 40' over 70'-80' holes. Good Luck.
