You might want to try fishing near Forrestville State Park. It's a not too far from Lanesboro. There are three streams you could try over there, South Branch Root River, North Branch Creek, and South Branch Creek. I've done good on all three. There's alot of browns, and a few rainbows.

I am Coming up your way over Memorial day, And was hoping the Forum could point me towards some of the must hit streams near Lanesboro. I would be happy to offer info on Southern Missouri or Northern arkansas if someone was planning a trip down here. I would be thankful for Any info.

Where in North Arkansas do you trout-fish?

The White River, Norfork Rivers any in Arkansas?

I have fished both and they are definitely PREMIER trout fisheries BOTH!
