Quality Trout Stream Evolution

Fellow Trout Fisher-peoples,

I have some time to burn tonite, so this is a good time to convey my surprise towards the quality trout fishery in "Trout Run" in S.E Minn.
This trout stream has evolved to be such a finely managed trout fishery, which I personally have found it to be compared to 32 years ago when I 1st fished it. The fish are so abundant and so nicely sized per current averages compared to back in 1971. I am truly amazed with the natural reproduction the stream has accomplished also, which is evidenced by the richly, golden-brown colored German Browns caught & released this past year!
As I sat on the stream bank, scrutinizing raising trout numbers, trying to decide which direction to begin flyfishing, I was saw awe-struck from seeing literally 30-40 rising trout in 30-40yds of water! And this was on a section of the stream I used to own back in 1971, near "Lohman's Bridge"! I had not SEEN such evidence of so MANY trout in that stretch of Trout Run back then!
Needless to say, I am so very happy and proud to see such improvement to such a fine trout stream as Trout Run currently portrays today! I am SO anxiously awaiting the April opener! At 50 years old...and yet feeling as I did back in '71 at age 18, as my very 1st "Trout Run experience"!
Kudos to ALL that have helped this trout fishery exemplify what it does today...1st Class trout fishing experiences!

YO...without a DOUBT Bud!! "Something WAS done right regarding Trout Run's quality trout!! With C&R and barbless and "caring" fishermen, AND landowners, this stream's 1st Class category is a "Team" RESULT!
