Lake of the Woods/Kenora Report

I wish I could give this report first hand, but I am stuck working.

Cyclohexane is up for the week and has stopped by my store a couple times. He asked me to post a report...

He has been putting a pile of miles on running around from Kenora to French Narrows to Tranquil Channel to Wiley Point. I think all areas he's tried he's found lots of walleyes. Humps are producing smaller fish, but points and narrows have been producing bigger fish, some as shallow as 10'.

He is hitting the weather pretty well, considering it's been 50's and rain for the past month and now we are seeing the sun and 80's.

Do you know what some good nig walleye areas are around Wiley Point? We stay at Wiley Point Lodge and have no trouble with muskies pike and eater eyes but would like to try for some CPR (Catch Photo Release) on Big eyes. If you want you could email me.

Im headed up tomorrow to stay in International Falls till Saturday morning when we head out.

See if a guide named Will still works there. I know him fairly well, and he's guided there for years...just not sure if he still is. He will know.

If I had to guess, it would be some 7-9 foot humps in the evening.
