Lost Canadian Fishing License & Card

Recommended Posts

While in Canada last week, my fishing partner lost his wallet containing his license and card. I'm sure his receipt was in his wallet also. We're planning to go back in August. Is there a way to get another copy or will he have to buy a new one?

Thanks,

Contact the local MNR office in Fort Frances 807-274-5337 and use the staff directory and key Sue Franko. She heads up the lic issuing in Fort and can set you up with a duplicate. They used to run $10, but not sure with the new system. You may have to contact the place that issued the lic if they have not remitted their sales since you purchased it, but Sue will let you know for sure.
