Mr Special
That depends on battery type and where you buy them. But from what I've seen and used don't skimp on quality. You might have to pay more but sure better then having that bargain brand fail in the field. A shotgun has a ton of kick and after time those cheaper red dots don't seem to hold up. I friend has a Ruger 44mag and is going on his 3rd red dot. He bought bargian ones and after the second scope failed. He upgrade and has never had a problem since. Your slug gun will likely have more shock then his 44mag.
picksbigwagon
I am looking at buying a red dot scope for my slug gun, and I have found a good deal on a holographic sight....My queston is, how long do the batteries last in these things and how expensive and available are the batteries?
