is it time to put away the full strut decoy

should I go without the full strut decoy

use a jake and hen or forgo decoys in late season

My full strut B-Mobile scared them away last week. I'd go with a hen or two and leave it at that. Still saw lots of hens so I don't believe they're sitting yet.

I would probably would say yes, put the strutting decoys away. I do know 2 people who used them and it worked for them last sunday and this morning and they both got one. Go figure, you never know .

I saw two toms spuring each other on friday so I would think it could still work. If I had one I would use it yet.

Saw one strutting for 3-4 hens tonight...it depends on your birds. Scout them and they'll let you know. By timing alone, if it were me, I'd leave the tommy at home.
