Same as most other places in terms of access...lots of snow and slush on the ice. Snowmobile is the best way to get around. If you can get out to your fishing spots, the fishing has been quite good. Getting there is the problem...

Any fishing reports or tips for Lake Waubay? I have never fished it before but looking for an adventure. Any help would be appreciated.

Swing into sportsman's cove in Webster. Doug has a 24"x36" HD map of the lake and will give you some pointers on where to access and fish. Most guys fishing waubay are fishing the main lake basins right now. Water clarity is excellent, I could see a buckshot spoon 16-18 feet down the hole. Any number of youtube videos show numerous lures and techniques that produce results on the perch and walleye. Having a good selection of colors and sizes of spoons, horizontal baits, and jigging shads/darters is key.
