Start up your motor and put it in gear. Turn your trollmaster on and you can change the speed. I think mine has a red light for the power and green light for the other button. When you are trolling and get a fish hit the button with the green light ang it will take you back to your starting speed. When you are ready to go again hit the button agian and it will take you back to your trolling speed. Very easy to use.
