Humminbird si w/ navionics bundle?

Looking at buying a humminbird 997si and wondering if its worth spending the money on the navionics bundle? My understanding is that it is only a 2006 version of hotmaps and the real advantage is you get all of the lakes in N. America that were available in 2006. If I do not fish any lakes outside of MN and already have the 2008 Navionics chip is there any reason to buy the bundle? Am I missing any of the other features the bundle gives you?

No reason at all. The only folks who really benefit are the gold chart users and folks that drag their boats all over the country.

I agree, the Nav Bundle is not the way to go for most users ..... map cards are cheaper and are more up-to-date than the preloaded maps.
