Beege
My brother and I were out on a local lake last night when all of a sudden some jerk decides it's time to plow around his ice shack. 20-30 minutes before dark. Then he stops for awhile, then decides to start up again about 20 minutes after dark. I can understand wanting to have your shack plowed out but doing it right at primetime when others are fishing just seems rude.
Beege
A little while after he left i caught a 17" eye and a 12" crappie so wasn't totally unproductive night though.
Bottle Fish
Yeah but who knows how good it really could have been if not for the neighbor. Common sense at prime time.
Big Buck Buster
We have had some of our best luck while running the wheeler around the house. After the fish stopped biting, we would run the wheeler again, and then they started biting again. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not, but I don't get upset with someone making noise up on top of the ice. I have had my camera down the hole while all sorts of racket was being made on the ice, and didn't see much of a change in the behavior of the fish. That is just my opinion on the noise factor. vook
I understand your frustrations but maybe he works later or that was the only time he could fit the plowing into his schedule. I'm sure it was less out of spite and perhaps more out of necessity?
