ripper
We recently put an addition on to our cabin which just has crawl space. I've polyed the floor joints and bare dirt but it's still very damp. I'm worried about mold, etc. Right now there is no vent of any sort. Should there be and if so what would be the best way to do that?
sparcebag
Yes there should be ventilation,If not it will collect moisture and if not rot wood you will get molds & mildew. Depending on size it should have at least 2 vent holes for air flow. The poly on the joists will retain moisture also by restricting air.
