mroyten
So, I have to post another win in this thread here, just thought of it today. When getting in contact with a fish, approach her from a new angle. In my instance here a good strike occurred and I missed the fish. Made a cast in the same spot with the same bait, nothing. Switched baits, same spot, nothing. Positioned the boat about 45 degrees from where the fish bit and my last position and made a cast with the original lure she struck and bam! Again she hit, I missed her again (no surprise) and lost the tail to the bulldawg, but geeze! When a fish is hungry, try hitting that spot from another angle to get her to bite again.
