moving water bass

well just a little sidenote guess ive never had the opportunity but this smaller metro lake i fish quite often had two very small creeks dumping into it with the recent heavy rains i have never caught so many bass in such a small area, i was throwing a plain black and purple worm and as soon as my bait hit the water the line would just take off, 3 of us caught roughly 30 bass in an hour ranging from 1.5-5 lbs many in the 2-3 range however fun fishing suggest that anyone who can find a lake with a some small cricks that are running high give a chance good luck and good fishing guys
