I'm starting to make next years list for the boat, and was woundering if any one tried one on their boat last year. I am thinking about using it on my bowmount next year. Any pros/cons. Does it show up in bright sunlight?

I also thought it could double as a flasher for my buddies without vexilars.

Any info would be great.

I used one last summer and love it. This is the first unit that I feel comfortable with what I see on the screen. The color really shows the definition betweem bottom and fish, suspended fish and bait fish. I haven't used the flasher feature to much so I can't provide much input on that, but people I have talked to say it is real nice for Ice fishing.

Yes, the screen looks good in bright sun light. I would say the only disadvantage is the small size of the units screen.
