muskylunkin
Hey guys, Im really quite new to walleye fishing. My in laws are big walleye guys and its starting to rub off on me a bit. I just bought a new boat and I have been gone the last few weekends and I can see my wife is getting a little bored with raising our son the last few weekends and wants a night out. I proposed going fishing together and she said Musky fishing is "boring" so I decided we would go walleye fishing Friday night. I need some help! I have to keep her interested otherwise Im sure our trip will be cut a lot shorter than I want it to. Any tips for where I should start looking? Im planning on fishing Waconia, leeches? Trolling cranks? Any tips would help! Happy wife, happy fishing trip!
th64
Fish for panfish with live bait and bobbers-if you accidentally catch ole' Walter and she thinks thats great she may want to target them-Panfish are the 'gateway dr--' for most of us. TrollnDrift
If you have rod holders trolling may be the way to go, she can read or do whatever if she gets bored. Thats what i do with my girlfriend, but she never gets her book out.
