Driftless
Mark was in Crawford county trout fishing with me today and he decided to go to the dam in Gays Mills and try for some other species. Mark was fishing with a 5 inch white twister tail on a big lead head jig and landed a 30 inch pike. He was about to quit but tried one more cast. Mark's twister tail was slammed by another big fish. Mark said it fought much different then the pike. He got really nervous when he got it near shore and saw how huge it was. After a long prolonged battle the 10 pound walleye slid into the net. Mark is from the Twin Cities and is camping in the area. The fish is in my freezer. Mark plans on having it mounted if his wife allows it.
