Muskiemanzan13
Went out of Akermark bay and went over to the crappie hole to north of that island by that bunch of houses. About 28"-31" of ice with 10"-20" of snow on top. Fishing was bad. Marked fish 5'-10' off bottom in 28'-32' FOW. I got all excited thinking they were crappies but they were 3" sunfish. Very deflating. But there was some guys to the south of us closer to that island that kept getting flag after flag catching them little hammer handle northerns. It's action anyway. We didn't stay for long because the size of the bluegills. I'll be out somewhere next weekend. Hopefully on Yellow. I'd like to see what the fishing is like leading up to the GTG on the 22nd. Don't forget about it! So good luck out there. -Zander
