vented heater that you light with a match

I have found what I think is a good deal on a vented fish house heater. The only issue I am worried about is that it does not have a push button ignitor. It needs to be lighted with match.

I think you much just hold the match to the thermopile and then it lights. I guess once it is lit it goes on and off controlled by the thermostat.

I am worried that it could be dangerous.

Although, I just sold a ventless fish house heater that had a push button ignitor and the ingitor was a pain sometimes. It was the only way to light it and sometimes it took forever to work.

You could just add a gas grill ignitor to the one you just got. Mount the push button in a convenient location on the heater.
