Magnetic Strips for Tools in Boat

I was @ a local Tool and Equipment shop and noticed the Magnetic Tool Holder Strips that are commonly used in the shop. Has anyone applied these to the boat for keeping your needle nose, knife, wire cutters handy? I was wondering how they would hold up on a nice run across the lake in some decent chop. Seems like a good idea.

I've never tried one but I know Rapala makes one for use in boats. Seems like a good idea if you have trouble keeping track of your tools.

Thanks for chiming in guys. I've seen the Rapala ones in the store but I think they are a bit overpriced for what your getting. I was curious if anyone has used the other brands that aren't made for your boat and if they would work equally as well. Cheers.
