Spidercast spinning reels?

Absolutely superb reels made to cross wind superlines so they don't embed the line into the rest of the line on the spool. They also have a little device that grabs the line to keep it tight on the spool so you don't ever end up with those annoying little loops we all curse when using light line! I have used them for two seasons now on my summer ultralight combos. Have not tried them on ice fishing set ups as they seem a little heavy so kind of hard to balance on a short rod.

BTW if you ever get a chance to try the spider cast levelwinds (baitcasters) do so. They are almost impossible to backlash and in my opinion the BEST reels on the market for the price...nothing else even comes close.

That reel is on sale at Gander Mt. in Madison right now for $29. I'm not sure what the regular price is though. I just stopped by yesterday for some ice fishing gear and they had a table full of them.

Thanks Apel, and welcome to the forums. I picked up the SA10 the day after Thanksgiving in St.Cloud. Looks like it will be a good reel for the price. Now I just need some Powerpro 4lb diameter, and the Gapen's rod I've been eyeing, and my Walleye Weapon will be ready to go for Spring.
